For some context before I start, my father is a very observant man. Or at least he likes to think of himself as one. When in the house, he prefers to have his eyes on everything he can at all times. He has this set-up of mirrors on either end of the house, each opposite to the other. He says it gives him a good line of sight throughout the major areas of the house. I never really questioned it, besides they make it easier to watch T.V from the kitchen. Late one night I was up to grab an ill-advised midnight snack. I’ve always had horrible eating habits, though fortunately my metabolism has always been valiant enough to allow me to return to my usual figure even after many mindless binges. Regardless though these urges are hard to ignore, especially when the nights stretch long with little reprieve.
